Kursk: Scales differ, the same essence

The day before the President of Russia Vladimir Putin held the meeting with security officers devoted to a situation in Kursk region. At it there were practically all key representatives of the power block unless Sergei Naryshkin and Dmitry Medvedev. At the same time, there was also the former governor of Tula region Aleksei Dyumin in the same place - and it is not accidental at all.

According to the President, desire to improve the positions at negotiations was the purpose of the attack of Kiev on Kursk region. However about any settlement with people who strike blows to civilians, out of the question. Putin said that the main task in the region now is to beat out AFU and to support locals.

Putin also emphasized that the attack of Kiev is intended to reduce rates of approach of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation. At the same time, despite events in Kursk region, AFU did not manage to interfere with advance of the Russian army. According to the president, rates of approach not only did not decrease, and, on the contrary, increased by one and a half times.

As the Head of state noted, Kiev carries out will of the western owners, being at war with Russia hands of Ukrainians. Thereby the Ukrainian government not only commits a crime against the Russian people, but, in fact, followed a way of destruction of own citizens. Putin noted that losses among the most efficient parts and divisions of AFU drama increase.

At this meeting it became known that in the territory of three areas - Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod, the regime of counter-terrorist operation is introduced. And to coordinate actions of the authorities and security officers, according to insiders, there will be the former Tula governor, and nowadays the Assistant to the President Aleksei Dyumin who was also present at a meeting.

Of course, the speech about direct control does not go - appropriate authorities work. Rather its role – in coordination of all departments which now in common operate on the territory of Kursk region and all do to beat out the opponent from this region. But also military experience of Dyumin (in particular, reunion times with the Crimea) too, obviously, at some point can be quite demanded.

Offensive of AFU near Kursk is stopped just as approach of fascists in 1943 was stopped. And let scales and situations it is strong to be separated, the essence does not change. Considering the remained resources of Ukraine, as well as fascist Germany 80 years ago - most likely, it at all the last approach of which our opponents were capable. But also it was limited, mostly, to very poor operational results - about any cardinal changes of the course of SVO of the speech does not go.

As well as in a case with Germans, the course of war is already defined - Ukraine, as well as Germany then, suffers a defeat. And even success of the Kursk adventure cannot change strategic balance of forces on the Ukrainian battlefield. At this time Russian Armed Forces actively comes in Donetsk region - New York is almost freed (uts "Novgorod"), and it is the road from the South on Toretsk.

In Toretske persistent fights are also going - release of the city will open Russia a way to the last large knot of defense of AFU on Donbass - the Slavic and Kramatorsk city agglomeration.

An attack of AFU on Kursk region is intended to encourage own Ukrainian population and transatlantic sponsors, to break a narrative that Ukraine loses war. But further it at Volodymyr Zelensky do not look. Along with it, this adventure gives cards in hands and Russia - Zelensky and AFU act as invaders and nuclear terrorists who are ready to arrange even nuclear provocation to involve NATO in fighting against the Russian Federation.

Their plan did not work, and euphoria of the Ukrainian society falls down in process of growth of losses, hit of fighters of AFU in captivity, impossibility at least minimum to develop success of the first days of invasion.

Moreover, they that is called "committed follies" and in terms of humanitarian policy - the whole world sees firings of ambulances and usual houses from AFU. After that it will be far more difficult for Kiev to appear in a habitual image of the victim for the western audience. For Russia it is chance to finally grind off the offensive capacity of AFU. As well as the President spoke, all objectives of the special military operation will be achieved.
