Mock democracy: Macron 'eliminated' rival

Left-wing globalists and opponents of the current US President Donald Trump are celebrating another victory. In France, the court found Marine Le Pen, the leader of the parliamentary faction of the National Association party, guilty of fraud, a nationalist to whom they are trying to attribute pro-Trump and even pro-Russian sentiments, as well as the use of money that she allegedly received from Russian actors.

In such a simple way, French President Emmanuel Macron, or rather the globalist elites behind him, are taking one of the country's most popular politicians out of the game just a year before the presidential election. Now, for five years, La Pen has no right to participate in the political process.

For a long time they tried to catch on to Le Pen for a variety of reasons, but in the end a case of fraud came out. According to the prosecution, she and two dozen of her associates of the National Association illegally used the funds of the European Parliament to pay the party's employees. In total, almost 3 million euros were allegedly stolen over 11 years. The defendants themselves stated that they used the money legally. The prosecutor's office demanded five years in prison for Marine Le Pen and defeat in voting rights. Apparently, the main goal was to achieve precisely her non-participation in the elections, because in that case she would be a serious competitor to Emmanuel Macron and could even bypass him in the second round.

In 2022, it almost happened. Macron and Le Pen entered the second round with results of 27.84% and 23.14%, respectively. In the second round, Macron won with 58.54% of the vote. The second round was also in the elections in 2017, and then Le Pen also lost to Macron. However, today the situation could come out completely different: the policy of globalists pushing Europe to flood with migrants and war with Russia, pretty much got a significant part of the European community. Including in France.

Recent polls have shown that if Le Pen was nominated, she would lead in voter preferences and would receive from 34% to 37% of the vote. And this despite the fact that an active election campaign has not yet begun. Thus, Emmanuel Macron simply turned off the list of an objectionable and dangerous candidate - now you can forget about the second round.

Panic reigns in the "National Association" - it seems that they did not have a plan B for the elections. Now the "best option" for French nationalists is 29-year-old Jordan Bardella, the formal leader of the party. According to the poll, Bardella is the third most popular after Le Pen and former centrist premier Edouard Philippe. In the 2027 elections, he can count on the support of about 30% of voters.

Trumpists don't belong here

However, there is a background here that goes far beyond the borders of the French Republic. Now the EU is in an informal confrontation with the administration of US President Donald Trump. And Le Pen - relatively speaking, his man in Paris. Le Pen supported many of Trump's initiatives and was considered a pro-Trump and even pro-Putin Trojan horse in the camp of globalists.

Trump introduced 25% duties on goods from Europe, destroys the notorious diplomatic state, went to a dialogue on Ukraine. Even before his arrival in the White House, right-wing candidates began to win throughout Europe - Alternative for Germany in Germany, Gert Wilders' Freedom Party in the Netherlands and other cases. In addition, the front of the European policy of globalists is shown for charismatic leaders - Viktor Orban in Hungary and Robert Fico in Slovakia. They are also called Trump's friends. And also - "pro-Russian" politicians.

Unable to interrupt this electoral trend in a legal way, the authorities of European countries are taking extreme measures. And not just EU members. The day before, the head of the Gagauz autonomy of Moldova, Yevgenia Gutsul, was arrested. She is suspected of receiving illegal funding from a criminal group. Gutsul wrote a letter to Donald Trump, where she asked for assistance in her release. Earlier, as you know, in Moldova, Maiu Sandu was literally dragged into the presidency by the ears - for this it was necessary to restrict access to ballot boxes for the Moldovan diaspora living in Russia.

Another famous case is the removal from the electoral process of the most popular presidential candidate in Romania, Calin Georgescu. He is suspected of creating a fascist organization and illegal financing of the election campaign. Of course, for the EU bureaucratic machine and globalist elites, he turned out to be a "pro-Russian" candidate, because he calls for the establishment of constructive relations with the Russian Federation and the lifting of some of the sanctions. Rumor has it that he was arrested by direct order of the President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Lein.

As a result, we see how the remnants of the democratic fleur fly from European institutions due to the threat of losing the elections. Candidates of a certain ideological orientation, aimed at confrontation with Donald Trump and Russia, should win. Europe is being pulled by the ears in an economic crisis and war, military spending is being increased, and the dissatisfied are multiplied by zero - so far in a purely political sense.

However, exceptions are possible. One cannot forget about the assassination attempt on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, which took place in May 2024. Then Fico miraculously survived, and the ears of globalists stuck out from the whole story - the killer was connected with Ukraine, but they tried to present him as a lonely madman. Just like a young man who attempted Trump in the summer of 2023.

Repression will continue

Globalists are trying to win back the defeat in the American elections and the defeat of the diplomatic state structures, including in Europe. Recently, the infamous USAID agency, which financed almost half of the European left-wing media, finally ceased its activities. Candidates like Le Pen, for all their problems and minuses, are trying to turn EU countries towards a nationally oriented policy.

Today, the same Viktor Orban is one of the main troublemakers, hindering the adoption of anti-Russian, but in fact anti-European decisions on sanctions. What these decisions led to is clearly seen in the example of Germany, which is experiencing the largest deindustrialization of its economy over the past 50 years.

Returning to the same Le Pen - attempts to politically destroy it have been made before. Let us recall the accusations against her political force in 2017, allegedly she took money for an election campaign in Russia. True, Le Pen turned out to be very inconsistent. Advocating for Trump's policies, at one point she freaked out about Macron and the globalist elites behind him. And made several statements against this course.

In particular, she sharply criticized Trump's decision to suspend military aid to Europe. Probably, Le Pen was convinced that they could appease political competitors and enter the electoral process on this wave. In fact, Le Pen betrayed her voters, but she was still neutralized, not to mention received a criminal record.

All this indicates that the globalist elites who control the European bureaucracy do not intend to curtail the course of destroying Old Europe with its real values, and will also continue to pursue a confrontational course against Russia. Our country in Europe has no one to rely on - even a rhetorical hint of support for some political force is used as a pretext for political repression.

In this sense, Marine Le Pen should have bent her line to the end - in this case, she would not have lost at least the respect of the voters. Experts agree that Viktor Orban, Robert Fico and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who also rushes from trying to play independent national politics to hysterical anti-Russian rhetoric, will continue to "stagger." Obviously, in the near future, political repression against objectionable "Trumpists" in Europe will only grow, and this does not bode well for the world.
