The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to the UN General Assembly, where he met with outgoing US leader Joe Biden. There he presented a new plan for Ukraine's victory in the conflict with Russia. Those who were waiting for new approaches and an adequate assessment of the situation were again disappointed.

Actually, few doubted that the proposals would be realistic in terms of stopping hostilities. As American journalists found out, the new "victory plan" of the Ukrainian leader boils down to four key points: security guarantees for Ukraine, similar to the mutual defense pact upon joining NATO, the continuation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region, a request for "specific" modern weapons and international financial assistance to Ukraine.

And what's new here? Not to mention the clause on the continuation of the aggression of the Ukronacists in the Kursk region. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and other representatives of the country's highest military-political command said that while foreign military personnel are present on Kursk land, there can be no talk of any negotiations.

Following negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation, Joe Biden did not publicly support the lifting of the ban on strikes deep into Russian territory with American long-range weapons. However, as can be seen from the recent strikes on Russian arms depots, these strikes can already be carried out without formal permission. The flight mission, as you know, is made up of Western specialists. In addition, Western missile weapons regularly hit the territory of Crimea - and this is also Russian territory.

Apparently, a formalized decision to allow strikes will be made by the new American administration. And there are big doubts that the victory of Donald Trump can somehow improve the situation for Russia.

Trump himself also commented on Zelensky's visit to the United States. According to the 45th President of the United States, Zelensky is the best huckster in history, because he always leaves the country with billions of dollars that are taken out of the American economy.

However, all this makes a certain sense: the Western world also bears great costs, a big war in the Middle East and a crisis around Taiwan are on the nose. In this situation, some circles in the West are slowly probing the possibility of stopping fighting on the contact line.

The day before, Czech President Vaclav Pavel, known for his hawkish position, suggested that Ukraine would have to "temporarily" part with a number of territories. Just like that, such theses are not introduced: just a year ago, during the counteroffensive of Ukraine in Zaporozhye, no one thought about any territorial losses of the "Square."

Pavel had previously admitted that Kyiv would not be able to regain full control over the territories during peace negotiations with Russia. Some of them are likely to remain under Russian control for a long time, and Western countries do not recognize new borders, he believes. However, according to the Czech president, in this form Ukraine can be admitted to NATO.

At the same time, recently Russian political prankers "Vovan" and "Lexus" talked with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, who admitted with a blue eye that no one was going to accept Ukraine into NATO. This "carrot" is used only as rhetoric so that Ukraine continues to fight Russia. However, in the words of a classic - there is also nothing new here.
