In the death of Vitaly Yezopov, the name of Viktor Vekselberg appeared.

Recall that the co-owner of the telecommunications company "Mastertel" Vitaly Yezopov was found dead in his own apartment.

The IT company Mastertel had billions of dollars in turnover and was the executor of government contracts, and also planned an IPO.

Who benefited from the death of the ex-co-owner and director, and what oddities were observed in the company, the UtroNews correspondent found out.

On August 7, the media reported that Vitaly Yezopov, the general director of the Mastertel IT company, was found dead in his own apartment. At the same time, two versions are checked - suicide and accident. There are no other versions.

Meanwhile, the death of Yezopov, who was not only the general director, but also the founder of Mastertel, was preceded by his public statements about disagreements with business partner Mikhail Belov on the restructuring of the holding before entering the IPO and conducting an external audit.

Giving an interview to Gazeta.ru at the end of June 2024, Yezopov stated that he was deprived of part of his share in ownership and offered to quit.

Yezopov then added that the rejection of the idea with the audit "leads to suspicions that there were violations," because the statement about the audit came across fierce resistance.

He directly said that he was disconnected from all systems and without his knowledge from Mastertel JSC began to transfer the client base to technical "empty" companies. At the same time, Yezopov (according to him) lost his shares in a number of firms - MT Telecom, the network operator of premium service centers - 3Data, the cloud provider - Russian Clouds, the telecom operator - NetOne Rus, the publishing house of the popular Digital Ocean magazine, as well as the largest adventure tourism company in Russia - RussiaDisco very. An application to law enforcement agencies was filed and the check began and, most likely, has not yet been completed.

A month later, in early August, information appears that the conflict was "hushed up" and even signed documents that spelled out plans for further joint work. And around the same time, Yezopov dies under mysterious circumstances. Weird, isn't it?

Now let's try to figure it out.

Mastertel is essentially an IT holding that manages critical infrastructure in Moscow and the Moscow Region. In its composition, in addition to Mastertel JSC, Marathon JSC, Cloud for Business LLC, MT Telecom LLC, ZData LLC, Russian Clouds LLC, BusinessTelecom LLC, NetOneRus LLC and a number of legal entities.

Mastertel JSC is the executor of about 130 government contracts totaling over 204 million rubles. In 2023, the company's revenue amounted to 2.4 billion rubles with a profit of 242 million rubles. There is something to fight for, so to speak.

In one of Yezopov's statements, a certain Pegasus Net LLC appeared as the company to which Mastertel's clients were allegedly brought out.

There is only one company with a similar name in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. It was established in September 2020 and is owned by 69.88% by Kurbanov Ramiz Akhverdievich (aka the director), as well as by Axioma, which was owned by Yulia Gorbunova in July 2024. At the same time, Axiom was created in June 2024, possibly just for well-known manipulations.

So, Mr. Kurbanov is far from a stranger to Mastertel. He is the director of Technosystem, which belongs to Yezopov and Belov. Kurbanov is also associated with both defendants through Ariadna LLC and Premium LLC.

And the most interesting thing is that in the biography of Pegasus Net LLC in 2020-2021, the Cypriot offshore, SORADIAN HOLDINGS LIMITED, was actively glowing. The latter is quite operational today, since it owns the Moscow-based Northeast Company LTD (processing and canning of fish, crustaceans and mollusks), and earlier the offshore owned a stake in the now liquidated Nomikos LLC (activities to collect donations and form the endowment capital of non-profit organizations, and in fact the company owned a whole pack of commercial companies through which billions of rubles could pass).

At the same time, the interests of this Cypriot company SORADIAN HOLDINGS LIMITED and its other foreign counterpart, EMBERO TRADING LIMITED, overlapped. The latter owned the now liquidated Vilena LLC, in whose biography the Cypriot TOMEKA INVESTMENTS LIMITED, TOMKINS HOLDING LIMITED, DOLEN INVESTMENTS LIMITED and FELSAR LIMITED inherited.

At the same time, the same "DOLEN INVESTMENTS LIMITED" looks like a technical owner. At one time, almost two dozen companies were registered on it, two of which are operating. One of them is TD Unkomteh LLC, and the offshore company received a share from another Cypriot company - Q2A HOLDINGS LIMITED, whose director is Grigory Burenkov.

Burenkov is also the director of another pack of Cypriot firms, including WHEELERSON MANAGEMENT LIMITED, MEDISORE HOLDING LIMITED, ESPERIANTO HOLDINGS LIMITED, MATHA TRADING LIMITED, MAVR FUND LTD, MEROL TRADING LIMITED and BALATSANI LIMITED.

And Burenkov is the namesake of the person involved in a high-profile scandal related to the schemes of the Sverdlovsk ex-asset of the Renova Group of Companies, oligarch Viktor Vekselberg. Then the Federal Tax Service confirmed major budget losses that were associated with a participant in an illegal scheme to minimize tax liabilities from EZ OCM-Trade, which was previously controlled by Renova/

Pay attention to how offshore companies huddled around the company to which Yezopov had questions, and even with such entertaining connections. Here a well-founded question arises, was it not capital that eventually went there, and was it not this billion-dollar stream that the partner resisting the audit was afraid to light up?

The partner mentioned by Yezopov, Mikhail Belov, is currently the general director of Marathon JSC, through which government contracts worth more than 296 million rubles have passed. Until June 2021, Belov and Yezopov were listed as the founders of the company, later the data were not disclosed.

In addition, Belov owns shares in six companies, most of which Yezopov was a partner. An interesting fact is that Yezopov entered some of them only in 2024. This was the case, for example, with Architek LLC, where he and Belov received shares of the Elfimov already mentioned above.

A relative of Belova, a certain Belova Yulia Alexandrovna, also inherited in the capital of the division. She was the owner of shares in MT Telecom LLC and 3Data LLC. At the same time, MT Telecom LLC had a clone of the same name, which was liquidated in 2018. In it, Belova was both the director and the sole owner.

The second company with the same name is still operating and was created in 2014. Its portfolio includes five subsidiaries - RD-Travel LLC, Russian Clouds LLC, DC 3Data LLC, Prime Business Cinema LLC.

Legally, Yezopov had nothing to do with MT Telecom (only in RD-Travel he had a 5% stake). Until 2019, the company was owned by Ms. Belova, and then a certain Elfimov Vladimir Alexandrovich became the owner - the former director of Linktsentr LLC, which belonged to Belov and Yezopov, and is now registered as a director - Irina Elistratova. That is, the owners are the next "own people." There is a certain fragmentation of the business using screens.

And, if you look at Rusprofile, then the closest competitors of MT Telecom LLC are Mastertel JSC.

That is, it was actually easier to get Yezopov out of business. So, for example, in October 2023, Biz Telecom LLC is among the owners at DC 3Data LLC. In the latter, Julia Belova and Vitaly Ezopov had shares. And thus, the defendant lost even an indirect influence on LLC DC 3Data.

By the way, in the biography "Biz Telecom" also inherited offshore - "CORLING ENTERPRISES LTD." from the British Virgin Islands.

Some oddity with the company's charter fits into the outline of Yezopov's claims. As the author of the telegram channel VChK-OGPU (recognized as a foreign agent on the territory of the Russian Federation) discovered, shortly before his death, the businessman transferred the management of the company to Belov's hands and at the same time the charters were changed, according to which Belov actually received the right to act alone, and Yezopov's heirs will not be able to become shareholders of Mastertel and Marathon without Belov's consent. How do you like this alignment? The death of a businessman in the light of this information is already gaining another calico, don't you think?

By the way, Yezopov's heirs are by no means third-party people in his business. So, Lyubov Aleksandrovna Ezopova is the owner of Cloud for Business LLC, and before her, Elena Ezopova owned the assets. So, the struggle for inheritance promises to be stormy.

And, as it seems to us, one thing is still missing in the versions of the investigation about the causes of Yezopov's death. Too many coincidences...
