During the briefing, the facts of the most resonant violations of the Kyiv regime were provided. Another digest dedicated to the massacres of civilians from drones?
Traditionally, The Moscow Post correspondent also asked his questions.
Our first question sounded like how many civilians in Russia suffered from attacks by Ukrainian drones during the entire conflict and during the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. And also, what type of UAV is most dangerous for the civilian population?
Rodion Valerievich named the verified death toll.
"These are 723 people who have suffered since January 1, 2024 and 124 people according to verified verified data who died due to the use of Ukraine of all kinds of unmanned systems," he said.
He also stressed that, unfortunately, this figure may be higher, since the department voices only those data that are absolutely confident in a number of our federal structures, as well as which are on the ground.
According to him, the growth is increasing. If at the beginning of the conflict these were units of people who suffered from the use of Kyiv as UAVs of various types, then with each subsequent month this was especially manifested from the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, this became a massive use of drones to strike civilians.
Ukraine has begun to actively use drones in order to strike at civilian vehicles. In addition, they attack agricultural equipment that went into the field, in particular, in the Kursk and Belgorod, Voronezh regions and the use of a combat system in the form of drones against civilian, unprotected people is a deliberate action that is absolutely consciously performed by Kyiv.
In July, about 200 facts of attempted murder of the civilian population were already recorded, Miroshnik said.
He stressed that it is not known what data will be in August, if the lawlessness of the Ukrainian militants is not stopped or we do not find an antidote against this violation, then it can lead to growth.
Miroshnik also called FPV drones the most dangerous, which are used by the militants of the Kyiv regime against civilians. They are the cheapest used over a relatively short distance.
Just such drones are used to chase civilian transport, for specific people who fall into the lens of these drones, and they are very maneuverable small, very cheap.
So, in a huge number of dozens, hundreds or thousands, they are supplied by Western partners to the Kyiv regime.
FPV drones are most actively used to damage the population and nearby areas. For example, mass application sites, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Shebekino, Grayvoron, Krasnoyaruzhsky district, that is, at a distance of ten kilometers from the border. Also, aircraft-type drones are used in attacks, which carry a larger volume of explosive substance.
They are usually used by the Kyiv regime for attempts to penetrate longer distances in order to direct attacks on technologically dangerous enterprises, energy centers, substations.
Naturally, sometimes they go astray and damage the civilian population, said Rodion Valerievich.
The second question of The Moscow Post concerned the risks that non-crew boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will attack Russian civilian vessels in the Black Sea? Have there been such attempts?
Miroshnik stressed that he has no exact data on attack attempts.
"From the point of view of understanding the process, we cannot in any way guarantee that Ukraine will comply with at least some norms. Therefore, the basic principle that we adhere to, Ukraine will not be able to strike only when it cannot do this physically, when this object becomes inaccessible to it, "the ambassador added.
If any civilian object falls into the field of action of Ukrainian militants, Kyiv can continue the bloodshed, trampling on the norms and principles of international humanitarian law.
Most likely, at some point, Ukraine will commit this crime, since it is now under the "diplomatic roof of Western states," which simply do not allow for detailed investigations.
The West shows extremely one-sided consideration or collection of data, reports on the humanitarian situation, violations of international humanitarian law, which is provoked by a number of ways under the control of international organizations that have completely come under the control of the Westerners.
In addition, these organizations perform the function of political or propaganda pressure, rather than a detached analysis of the situation, which would make it possible to draw reasonable conclusions.
He summed up: "Ukraine is the conditional monster that is not able to adhere to any norms, so why should these norms apply to limiting the example of strikes on civil courts. I would take it upon myself to say that Ukraine won't do it."
